Nothing new in the history of unscrupulous political games. The crux of the story is that the Prime Minister of Nepal Dr. Girija Prasad Koirala is eager to retain the post though he and his party Nepali Congress have eaten a humble pie in the just concluded general elections. Otherwise he would not have let two Ambassadors (Indian and U.S.) to lose faces by exposing them in the public. It seems that Dr. Koirala thinks ” I am the best” and wants to stick to the post despite the massive public mandate in favour of Prachanda where the winner is despised by India and the U.S.
